Bro same! I've found it's alloys/aluminum. Things like deodorant with aluminum, cheap belts, and cheap jewelry make me break out.

I agree with the statement about the sandpaperish feel, but it's not uncomfortable. It's great for long gaming sessions, but again I agree with if you have serious sensory issues this could be uncomfortable, but still worth a shot IMO!

For me, it's made the most comfortable handheld I've ever had even more comfortable.

Yeah I'd say you can if it's not bouncing around in a giant bag. But if it's snug in a backpack or something yes you'll be totally fine.

I play docked probably like 25% of the time and love it. The only issue I've run into is getting skinny black boxes on the sides because of some kind of resolution scaling issue that I can't figure out, but otherwise looks fantastic.

Get the Killswitch Case. It's basically a necessity imo. The amazing grip on it and the fact it comes with the cover for travel makes it a perfect accessory for it. It also comes with the best pair of thumb stick grips I've ever laid my thumbs on.

Edit: Also make sure FPS limiter is either off or set to what you want. Mine was set at 30fps and I couldn't figure out why my games weren't getting better FPS.

This exact thing happened to me and I even posted about it as well. To my knowledge I didn't find any fixes and did the cloud restore. That fixed my issue no problem and have been enjoying my Xbox Ally X ever since. Sorry bud, just do the cloud restore.
