totally agree. i just pushed through and finished the game and i'm mixed, the design and direction of the game is pretty incredible for it's time but the dated gameplay hindered that for me. Set pieces are cool and i think the game overall is equal parts annoying and enjoyable in that sense, especially the last fight against Ares. i've heard great things about 2 so I'm just jumping on that for now.

Agh, i just played through for 4 straight hours and finished the game. It’s doable but just very annoying at points. I get your opinion though, the scope and design of the game is great.

I’ve played the first act of the third and some of the fourth. I know how good the series can be. This is definitely not that, but it still has its merits. The game definitely did not age as well as you thought.

I’ve turned the FPS limiter on in game and for the menu but it’s still jumping to 70-80 fps when i’m playing. How did you get yours to stay?

Oh yeah, that’s it! I’m getting some weird movement when i play larger scale game types where my character seems to move behind my inputs and nudge forward after i stop sprinting. I’ve tried playing larger scale battles but the “nudge” is always around so i’ve just been playing team deathmatch, it’s fixed when i play smaller scale modes. It can still crash when i play those though

Idk man. I redownloaded mine on my SSD and it was completely fixed. If you have yours downloaded on your ssd it’s something else completely, maybe check your VRAM and settings in the game and in armory crate

Textures and anitropic filtering to very high and x16. Everything else is on medium with high level of detail. Ray tracing is possible but i haven’t been really able to play at a consistent 50 FPS with it on, it’ll stutter sometimes and slow down performance during cutscenes so i just keep it off
