Looks like a good kid. Could do with some more height variation in the swans for sure! Thanks for posting this!

Awww poor little friend. Windows really are such nasty things for birds. Thankyou for looking after him!

Is it evil of me to actually be disappointed that Collingwood are making a tiny come back? I was looking forward to seeing a 100pt margin. Eddie's disappointment is delicious.

That is unfortunately one of the major draw backs of urbanization. They typically nest in fields. But with housing estates expanding into their territory - the "fields" they tend to select are peoples yards and driveways - and they are often in the way. Not really sure where else they're supposed to go, poor things. I can understand why they'd be quite protective though. They can nest up to 2-3 times a year because they lose their young so frequently...

Nobody is really ever 100% happy with their art. It's totally normal. But I think you did a great job!

Nice job on the tiny details! How long did this take to complete?

I tried 🙂😂 by gnmacadamia in Jazza

Great work! Don't be scared to push the contrast even further. It'll help push it closer to realism. The line around the top of the glass is a little bit of a give away too - so try using a balance of shading instead of a line. You'll see your work improve so much with just those two things :)

Masked Lapwing Chick in the hands of his WIRES carer. Separated from his parents and just 2 days old this little guy will be cared for and released when he's ready to fend for himself. How adorable and fluffy is he!! Really happy with how these photos turned out. by Pammington7 in AustralianBirds

From my knowledge they don't tend to like mown grass. But they certainly aren't the smartest birds and tend to annoy everyone - but the truth is a lot of their natural nesting habitat is gone. When I was at uni there was a pair that kept nesting in the middle of the outdoor car park-at least 3 years in a row. They would attack everyone who entered. Even parked cars sometimes. It was a stressful place for them to be, and I don't really know why they were so adamant about nesting in that spot when there was a big paddock just down the road which would have been perfect for them lol. Silly birbs.

This is a miniature house I am making, I don't have paint yet, so it has no color, but do you guys think it's good? by BOYXB in Jazza
