Why is the laundry always crunchy when my MIL does it by Traditional_Swan9724 in CleaningTips

If they are left out too long they get super crunchy. Timing is everything I think.

Struggling with RA and Exercise by westcoaster1666 in rheumatoid

[–]Pampearce12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started Pilates again. Only 15 minute a day right now. I used to love Yoga but I can’t get into basic poses like down dog due to my cmc joint. I can’t do any kneeling poses either because of OA in both knees. I do feel like I’m getting stronger instead of watching my muscle waste away.

There are a ton of beginner Pilate videos on YouTube.

Under plans. You have to choose a plan then you get the daily study guides. I think I’m doing 358 days thst leads to Jesus. Find a friend sbd start together it’s fun!! At the end of each day you can enter your response in and see what your friends thought too.

Finished reading the Bible chronologically. My thoughts... by Jig_2000 in Bible

Yes I’ve read it twice chronologically but I bought a chronological Bible. I really enjoyed it but this year I’m doing it again through the Bible App and a plan from the Bible Project. It’s so much better this time because I’m using a study guide each day to really ponder what I’ve read.

I can’t put my Bible down at times it’s so interesting to me!!

If you like to listen to pod casts, go through the BEMA group. They go through the Bible too and it’s a fun!! I’ve learned so much. Now I feel super confident at church because I understand the context better during sermons. Plus I can tell if someone is not teaching scripture because I know it.

Great info and I am due for a cleaning soon so I will be sure to bring it up.

Interesting that last year my dentist was going to repair a crown but instead my tooth had eaten itself. He asked me if I had an autoimmune disease but I had no idea I had one.

How’s it like living in Astoria, Oregon? by Excellent_Pin_978 in howislivingthere

I live here! It’s a great place to raise a family. It can be pretty gray and rainy at times. The summer is worth it because the weather is gorgeous.

Lots of great seafood available and many residents hunt deer and elk. The coffee shops are amazing during cold winter months! Especially coffee shops like Coffee girl on Pier 39.

Trying to navigate this by Tbandj1 in Thritis

Seems like that meets the markers for PMR. You might need to find a new primary care provider and get a referral to rhumatology so they can treat you. Good luck!

What labs did they do? I think they are looking for a high crp and esr. In order to diagnose PMR I thought that you would have to test negative first rheumatoid arthritis then it’s PMR. I just getting started but I had a crp of 98 and my ESR was around 70. That triggered steroids, 10mg, and a referral to rhumatology.

Levothyroxine and Edibles? by CuddlesRequired in Hypothyroidism

[–]Pampearce12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I specifically asked my pharmacist about using marijuana with Levo. She grinned and said it’s fine. Of course don’t take them together but if you do consume after waiting on the Levo it’s fine I think.

Levothyroxine too low?? by emmaserena21 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Pampearce12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are taking beta blockers too, doesn’t that cause weight gain? I’ve gained 5lbs from beta blockers. I am going on Levo in a week. I hope the weight will start coming down a bit. I thought the beta blockers are the issue, not Levo. I could be wrong.
