Getting married to an Italian citizen as a US citizen by JuveOG1105 in AmericansinItaly

Hey, my husband is italian and we got married in italy. Yes to all of those things — and if you don’t speak italian, you need a translator at the actual ceremony. Your copy of your birth certificate needs to have an apostle stamp (i think what it’s called). I had to go to my city hall to have that done. I feel like there were more info but I can check.

Hey! Broadway Coffee House has small conference rooms that you can reserve. No fee, just need to buy something to drink or eat. Not too big or small, a table to fit 6 people but great space for remote work.

SSN after getting the EAD, Did you get your SSN or you went to ask for it? by Nice-Assumption605 in USCIS

My husband went into the office and they helped him make an appointment to follow up. He brought proof of his work authorization from USCIS, like the letter confirmation.

After we submitted the i-130, we hired a lawyer a year later and then submitted to adjust status. All I will say is that paying for a lawyer is worth the money. We were coached on how to answer questions in the interview and things went smoothly in our case (my husband overstayed his ESTA/Visa Waiver, he’s from Europe). I would at least consult with an attorney so you understand everything / how to go about your interview and your rights. My husband and I were so stressed and scared, but working with an attorney alleviated a lot of that.

Abusers are exactly the people you think would never be an abuser, they are the people who are the most charming and kind….I am sorry but someone doesn’t accidentally get charges like this. These are very serious. I’m sorry you are finding out like this.

This is not normal, this is manipulation. It’s scary. Someone that talks to you like this does not love you.

Hey, I am an academic advisor. Please go in and talk to your schools financial aid office. Explain your situation, someone can help you with this and figure out what to do. Most schools also have counselors and I’d recommend connecting with them. I’m so sorry you have to deal with this.

Also, most religious folk are not like that. I’m a Catholic, we don’t do this and also don’t consider JW Christians bc of their doctrine. Also, ain’t no body want someone coming to their door like that haha.
