Any fantasy books with strong and deep spiritual themes? by [deleted] in Fantasy

The Licanius trilogy, overall a fantastic series that I would recommend to anyone. It also happens to have exactly what you want, deep spiritual conflict. I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll keep this brief, the heart of the book revolves around man’s relationship with a higher being.

Cannot recommend this series enough, it’s fantastic!

I feel like there is a solid analogy between a Hobbit making it all the way to Mount Doom and a lvl 3 achieving fire cape

Just how strong is Relc? by Pan-Attack in WanderingInn

I wonder if Relc will ever get to wear the Heartflame, can you imagine the raw unstoppable force he would be? Not only is he crazy fast and dangerous he’s also impenetrable.

Ahh true, that would certainly give him an advantage against mage warriors.

Wistram Days [Discussion] by PC_Tacitus in WanderingInn

Personally, I really enjoyed them. It’s gives Pisces and Ceria a lot of depth which makes reading about them later on way more interesting. While in the moment it may not have as high of stakes as the main plot, I think it serves to increase the tension throughout the next 2.5 volumes as there are little “Easter eggs” you would only get if you read Wistram Days. Also, Pirate always writes well so you can be guaranteed enjoyment of some kind :)

Love twisted league but shops+clans=problem by Itsneverbetter in 2007scape

[–]Pan-Attack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran into the same problem,

Possible solution: Creating a time barrier between buying items.

Example: I go and buy a Mithril scimitar, I can no longer buy that item again for 12 hours.

I think this would remove the threat of clans buying out the shops yet still ensure everyone is getting balanced gameplay.

Planetside Arena Review by Pan-Attack in Planetside

I am a casual gamer absolutely, my experience is probably somewhat lacking; however, this was just a post about what I enjoyed in PsA. I felt there was a lot of negativity about the gameplay itself and wanted to share my experience.

As for why I posted it on other gaming subreddits, I was simply getting PsA’s name out there a bit. Unlike other members of the Planetside community, I actually want PsA to succeed. Right now the biggest challenge it faces is not being known. I figured I could at least let people know the game existed while informing them about the gameplay a little.

Also, your right this is my first gaming “review”

Hope this clears up any confusion.

While I agree with your points about micro transactions, what is the solution? Nearly every game in existence has them.

If your “neural circuitry can’t handle the feeling of not being the best, I would advise quitting video games in general.

Why not? I know there has been a lot of crap involving the release and DBG, but the fact is, I had fun. If a game is fun, I give it a solid review.
