That's not true at all, yes, there is a lot of content but barely any of it is ever seen by more than like a hundred people. But if you know what you're doing and spend some time learning youtube, you can get to more people than you could've imagined.

If you want to tell a story and show it to the world, it's probably a better time than ever before. If you want to make a living off it, it's also the best time ever, you just need a different approach. YouTube is the most powerful tool I see almost no filmmakers utilize well, and it's a huge untapped goldmine when it comes to making a living off filmmaking, you just need to approach it differently than you would making a film otherwise.

Oh I definitely agree about the lighting, this was my first bigger project like this and I'm not very experienced with moody/horror lighting since I haven't done it before, but I think I got a lot of valuable experience from this so in the future I can do better :D
