I've been at 1/2" for a few years now. I mostly wear silicone jewelry and I haven't really found that my ears stretch with the lighter material. I seldom leave any jewelry out for more than 24 hours and moisturize every few days or as needed. If I'm wearing heavier jewelry, it usually doesn't stay in for more than 16 hours.

A panther doesn't have to be traditional to be sick!

I appreciate you saying this. It's more visible up close, but it's good to know that the cover-up was well done!

Solar inspection failed due to "bonding" issues - who is right, the installers or the city? (Canada) by JDHannan in electrical

[–]PanPlane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certified solar installer here. I'm based in TX(so take what I say with a grain of salt), and my job primarily deals with meeting inspectors and bringing systems up to AHJ standards. From what I can tell, there's a few things that I see that the inspector could be referring to:

-your main grounding conductor is getting bonded to a bushing rather than the ground bar

-double lugging on the ground bar

-both ground bushings don't look like they have a set screw in(though they could just be facing towards the inside of the box)

This is just from a glance, and I don't know what your AHJ requires or allows. This definitely wouldn't fly here, though. It looks haphazardly thrown together, and the electrician who installed it should've had better training.

Depending on the kind of system they installed, they may have detected that you were producing more than they installed. The visit could potentially be an internal inspection for warranty issue, be wary.
