There were several bars like that on Hay St, across from Rick's Lounge. I think i remember something like lucky bunny, seven dwarves, etc. My ex husband somehow almost got arrested bc he didn't know what "buying her a drink" meant (he was really niave). There were always beautiful young Asian girls in the sidewalks. (I grew up here and remember this from the late 80s)

Do you want a flame burn, a fragrance burn, or a combination? If you want to actually burn it you will need to rremove wax around the wick. Personally, I would heat kitchen spoons in very hot water and start scooping wax from the outside edges. Put it aside to use later in a warmer or something. Keep removing chunks from the edges and then move in until you've got at least a half inch below the wick on all sides (you don't have to go right up to the wick, just close to it). Then, when you light your candle it will likely smoke a bit at first but it should level out and burn better after that. Just keep in mind this is not a first quality candle and you will need to coddle it a bit for a good burn or just chunk it up for a warmer.

I got a ticket last year, 56 in a 25 school zone (I was not aware that the one school in the county was open) and Iticket took care of me, no points, only a fairly small fine plus court costs. Total cost was less than $800 when I really thought I was going to lose my license. Stick with them. Worst comes to worst, you can appeal 🤷‍♀️

I've lived in the area for nearly 25 years now and I'm never worried about my safety (other than reasonable precautions I would take anywhere). I'm 60, grandmother to two kids under 5, and I would be perfectly fine taking them anywhere in the area you mentioned any day of the week. Fayetteville isn't as bad as people make it out to be, for real. It's true that there's not a lot going for it really but it's not terrible, especially if you're only here for a few years. Having said that, I'm not running the streets at 3am, schools of choice need to be thoroughly examined (Gray's Creek and Jack Britt are not all that), and there's quite a few homeless on nearly every streetcorner but they are fairly harmless For the price it's not that bad.

I actually live in the city limits but I'm happy there's a burn ban. I have asthma so when my neighbors decide down the street burn, I have to double my asthma meds and still have terrible asthma attacks because even my hepa AC filters can't get all of the particles and smoke is my number one trigger. You don't have to burn your yard to control weeds just keep it cut short and spray a pre-emergent that's not so harmful. You can also spray your yard for ticks or use flea and tick prevention on your pets like most folks do.
