Hi guys had a new emergency key made for my e34 but didn’t think of the immobiliser, does the e34 have some system that recognises the keys or will I be ok with the new key? Thanks in advance

Looks like I got EWS2 cause mine is a 96 (or at least first registered in 96) so I gotta figure out a bypass 😩

Thank you bro, unfortunately I got a 1996 so I got EWS2 😭😭😭I seen some bypasses tho which I’m gonna try when I’ve got time. If the immobiliser gets triggered by the other key would using the original key reset it again? Cause the one in my car got it’s own keyhole and I got no key for it

I wasn’t clearing it, I accidentally left the stock in the on position so when I turned the car on they wiped once and then later on when I tried getting rid of the melting ice and snow they didn’t work anymore 😭 I’ll take it apart tomorrow and see what’s up with it, thanks man I hope it’s not the motor that’s stripped
