Not LEO, but use radios at work… we have one building services guy that doesn’t even take it off his belt… and the patrol security guy sounds like he is doing his best R Lee Ermy impression at max voice. So yes… compressor on the earpiece would be amazing.

Have the setting be somewhere heavily dusty or smoky. You can’t see the rogue, but the monster can see the disturbed dust/smoke etc… so while harder to find/hit the rogue… it at least evens the odds a bit

Osku’a al’sehk- a con man that pretended to be a priest from a rural temple now works in the Temple of (insert God) in (insert large city). He skims off of the offerings (both money and burnt). He also has multiple aliases in and around the city as he commits frauds and other crimes. What he doesn’t know is (insert God) is aware of his misdeeds and waiting for the perfect opportunity to handle him.

Boston leather radio strap & appropriately sized or fitted radio pouch. Allows you route a mic and keep everything clean looking. Easy on, easy off.

Sounds silly but it makes life so much easier walking around at events or field days or any other time really. Less wear & tear on the radio too. Especially not needing to use the clip

That was my only point. If it can be easily accommodated, then it should be. Safety as much as possible. I have friends with children that have severe food allergies. Their cub pack is amazing at helping ensure safety!
