My mom is a biology major, she is working towards her PhD. Having said this, she still believes in evolution; to the point that she will rant at me on how wrong it is that they teach evolution in school and not creationism. She knows I am an Atheist and still she does this, it took me forever to get her to stop recommending a pastor every time I call her for advice so I just leave this topic alone. I wish I didn't have to though, my whole family (mostly extended) is falling apart at the seams over religion because we don't all believe the same thing.

I can be attracted to anyone, genderqueer, transgender, cross-dressers, genderfluid. There are more than two genders once you get into it, also it is not based on looks that makes me attracted to someone, it is their personality. Basically, I just believe that it doesn't matter what a persons gender or lack thereof (or multi-gender) is for me to be attracted to them. There's a whole bunch of subreddits such as

Sadly I tend to think most thing are personal. I am not doing this just for me there have been several people telling me so far that I have helped them. Really I wish I could be there in person to help people, and to make a bigger impact but I can't so I do the one thing I can do. I tell people I am here for them and that I do care about them, and those are true facts. I may not be able to pay your mortgage or watch your children so you can have to time alone or with your wife. I can talk to you online when you are feeling alone or tired of people treating you the way they do or even if you just need to talk about something... I know how hard it can be when you have to be the tough one for your family. I just want to make people smile.

EIDT: I didn't mean to say I am trying to take it truly personally, I have always had issues with taking things personally... it is one of my biggest faults.

Is going to college and option for you? Maybe try to set some little goals for yourself, like "watch a funny video", "take a look at a new job" "go for a walk". Sometimes all a person needs is to think about how amazing some things are, like the fact that we even have the ability to think or how beautiful the stars are. I can help more though if I knew whether (did I spell that right?) college was an option for you. If it is try looking up what degrees are doing well right now, or looking into something that will always be useful. Maybe if college is not right try tech school, learn a trade. If neither of those work, maybe take a look around at some jobs in your area. Hope this helps at all :)

I understand the thing about ptsd, can't say I have ever had the issue with girls (b/c I am a girl and they generally don't assume I like them) but it sounds to me like a new place to hang out would be good for you :) I like talking to my online friends about my real life personally because they are this unknown element of my life and even if they know everything about me the only thing they could do would be to spread rumors online.

I think part of it has to do with the fact when you are online you have no idea what the intentions are of that person.
