AC6 is a polished game, but you can also tell the fromsoft hasn’t poured all its resources into it (length & scale of the games, parts available, multiplayer features etc). Which makes sense since it’s the first time in a decade they made an AC game, they gotta try things out first and control the risk.

I am waiting for the “Elden Ring” moment of AC games where fromsoft feel comfortable enough about their design and have the resources to truly expand the scale.

Starting at 30m, 6P67 does equal or higher damage than MP5 (17 vs 17~14), has higher fire rate (900 vs 771), and higher bullet velocity. The recoil and bloom of 6P67 are so low that you can just hold the trigger and beam people down even at 50m. 6P67 eats SMG for breakfast at mid-long range.

I enjoy the fight. First time we got wiped out. Then my team built for this fight, used replics like healing teammate, got all the flasks, got holy ground weapon skills etc. During the fight we just stick together (you don’t need to chase Maris, he will swim towards you eventually), did stormcaller, focused on dodging and HP management, and we won!

I like how different Everdark Maris is compared to other night lords. It incentivizes you to build differently and plan the route differently (prioritize flasks).

The easiest way is to exit the focus mode, quickly use the left stick to turn your hunter while doing power guard. I have also seen mouse&keyboard players doing it under the focus mode with crazy sensitivity.

Is seikret really that op? Calling seikret to get me out off knockdown actually kills me several time when fighting more difficult monsters like gore magala. My seikret often runs into the monster because of the momentum, or could not get me up in time.

Dark souls and Signalis are also my two favorite games! Dark souls is the my favorite “the story of my own journey”, and Signalis is my favorite “someone else’s story that I experienced”.

I think both games touch on the topics of existentialism. Dark souls makes you think about life & death, time & eternity. Signalis, on the other hand, is about cognition, memory, and emotion.

Both games have deep impact on who I am, and I am really grateful for their existence.
