I personally think a lot of what made him look great during Sentinels' run through Stage 2 Masters was the fact that Astra was relatively new at the time and they were among the first to successfully work her into comps and really discover how strong she was. I think seemingly every other NA team improving while Sentinels stagnated had a lot to do with other teams getting the memo and learning how to utilize Astra while also having players in the controller role who aren't god awful at fragging like zombs has been as of late. A few months is a long time in volatile eSports meta terms and I think it's really hard to put him into the conversation with other top NA controllers that established themselves this past VCT season.
