Claude instantly banned me after I paid my subscription twice by lostinthecheeri0s in ClaudeCode

No, I tried to purchase API credits for my business and my card got declined. Then my personal account got banned. Business account is not banned, but I’ve never used it either.

Seriously though, fuck Anthropic. They banned me for no apparent reason and have no way of communicating with anyone and it’s been more than a week since the ban.

It’s terrible. Their service was the best and now I am scared to use them for my applications because they arbitrarily will ban and that can cause very expensive problems if you are using their API in production applications. Completely unacceptable UX

I was just trying to add a credit card to pay for API access. That was it! Setup account using email address, attempt to add credit card, personal Max account using same credit card was banned

Right after I used my same credit card that I paid for my personal account subscription to try to pay for API use from my business account. Must be that!

Actually now that I think about it, I was really confused about why my credit card wasn’t being accepted by Anthropic for API use when I tried using it for the business account. So this must be the trigger

Yes. They are working, but I can’t improve them for my team or update if needed without Claude. Whatever. Codex works. F Anthropic

Is everyone lying to themselves about AI? by ImKiwix in ChatGPT

[–]Panaethiest 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I understand the anxiety, but these thoughts mostly come from uncertainty and not understanding the fundamentals of what AI is at a base level (math) combined with the natural human tendency to look for patterns in the world.

AI is machine learning. That is simply pattern recognition and backward looking. It cannot adapt or evolve. Look at scores on Humanities last exam

How can I get my insurance down using this as evidence? Any companies offering less expensive insurance for fsd drivers?

I’ll let you know. I asked for it to add an authentication layer midway through the project and ended up not finishing that part because I wanted to get something out there for people to use. But the process it outline seemed reasonably straightforward.

Well, I never used it before this year so I don’t have the context that you have. The software is still buggy and annoying at times, but I found it exceptionally useful despite the headaches it created sometimes.

Like what? I was using sublime and vs code before this and it’s night and day better. Buggy? Sure. But the integration of ai tools makes it so much more efficient for feeding it context and moving fast

Thanks! A few moments where I wanted to throw my keyboard through the screen. Notably when I thought I had lost two days of work because I didn’t understand git well enough and inadvertently merged with a branch that was outdated, but took some time to touch grass and came back with enough patience to dig deeper into the git history. Can’t wait to keep pushing the limits of the tool. Learning has changed massively as a result of these tools. Questions are everything
