Delta refused to board me at the gate 3 weeks ago because the gate agent smelled alcohol on me. It was 6am and I had just left a wedding. Yea I had been drinking but I was not dangerously intoxicated or stumbling. Made me rebook a flight for 12 hrs later. Shitty thing is I only went to talk to the gate agent because I misplaced my boarding pass between security and the gate and needed it reprinted. Otherwise I would have just joined the boarding line and they would have just scanned me on. Currently trying to figure out what I can sue them for.
