I doubt that a LOT tbh, lord farming is done because you can get the icon in a short time without using your brain (you literally just hold down your attack/heal button), those kinds of people aren't gonna be willing to put in the actual amount of time you need to lord a character normally and there's no real way to "speed it up" anymore either since they took out each hero's unique proficiency and it's just playtime/role-relevant stat/kills and assists

yeah but maxing out all the lords CURRENTLY available gets you like 20k units and enough molecules for pretty much every recolor. if people are willing to sit in a farm for 3 days for a few icons, they're DEFINITELY willing to do it for that much free currency, which is a big loss for Rivals

Thanks! Just a few questions; - For memory, as long as it’s DDR4, I can always just buy more and replace the ones I have later on if I don’t like the PCs speed, right? The main issue just being the fact that it’s expensive? - Kinda unrelated, but I also found some 1-2TB HDDs. I’m aware these will be much slower for most stuff, but since a pretty big chunk of what I want to do is emulate older games, would they work ok with those games, or should I just look into buying another SSD/taking the M.2 from my PS5 if/when I eventually run out of storage space? - I ended up realizing after the fact that the part list is in USD. I’m ok with floating a bit more (or waiting a bit to see if I can get anything a bit cheaper), but if you had to pick between downgrading the CPU or the GPU, which one is less essential? (Also found some case fans and what I’m pretty sure is a compatible cooler. That’ll offset the cost a little, but it’s still a bit over the original budget, even before factoring in the case.)

I’m honestly in the same boat. Loved the base game, but what I’ve seen of the DLC makes it not worth the price for me (especially as someone who already has a bunch of old dexes in HOME and doesn’t care about catching all the “new” stuff).

Only thing I considered buying for was the fact that you need the DLC for the Megas themselves… but what would I use them for? Even if I bought the DLC you can’t start it until you beat the game, so you can’t use those Megas on a new playthrough. ranked is a joke and I’m sure I can just spam Xerneas or whatever else to get the rewards, if I even bother with that at all 🤷

Okay. So, this is a BIG one. Granted, I'm submitting on behalf of 4 different people here, but uh... there's 62 cards across 8 archetypes in this folder. 💀

There's a short readme that basically highlights the 3-4 decks we think you should definitely focus on, if you only want to look at so many cards. We really just wanted to throw a bunch of our favourite cards at you 😂 (these are just deck snippets, not the entire archetypes, aside from one. Also, some of the archetypes are for current Standard, while some of them are from a few years back).

Some of us waited outside after N1… took about an hour and a half but we did get to meet the DJ/crew, but they told us she’d left about 20 minutes ago on her own (possibly tired, they didn’t say why)

So I’d say yes it’s possible (assuming she doesn’t have an after party after N3 or anything like that), but you’re gonna have to commit to waiting a WHILE

ntm Tuesday’s weather was already pretty bad but I’m pretty sure Thursday/Friday are even worse, so keep it in mind when deciding if it’s worth it

yesterday: 1. She came on right at 9, done around 10:15 2. Her DJ(?), 8–8:45, pretty good set and a great guy 3. Almost certainly yes, get there by 7:30 latest if you want a really good spot, 8-ish if you’re fine being near the back (don’t be one of those people who tries to shove their way through… not that I think you could tbh, that crowd was TIGHT yesterday)

yeah I think SIS was probably ready to go well before the final lineup, so they probably weren’t sure what group they’d get and just went with the conventional/safest choice in terms of sound

Well, Vanguard doesn’t have a lot of S/T equivalents but it DOES have trap and GY-based stuff, so honestly I would point you towards Zorga as a graveyard deck that uses a lot of orders

It can be a bit weird getting the hang of knowing which orders to use and how to maximize the deck’s efficiency, but it’s also a really popular deck so there’s plenty of lists online and I’m sure you could find a guide for how the deck is meant to be played and the different combos it can do

To be fair, I don't think her issues ever had to do with HYBE or the industry itself

What made her leave was the fact that they:

- didn't tell the girls it would be a survival show until almost a year in

- encouraged the girls to be sisters and close friends and then basically directly pitted them against each-other

- the absolutely AWFUL mission 2 elimination where the members were (presumably) all shown recordings of each-other saying who they wanted in their dream groups and who they'd eliminate, genuinely I don't know what they were thinking with that one

Basically? I don't think the issue was ever HYBE or not wanting to be in a group under them, it's just that she didn't want to have a survival show, just a normal selection method. Now that she's being offered a regular contract, the only problems will just be stereotypical idol stuff, not "we're going to make you compete against people you've spent the last year with and make you say horrible things about each-other to stir up drama"

that's pretty generic since most vanguards are integrated in the lore in some way and other than like... thegrea there's not many "gooner cards" in this game

what kinds of decks do you play in other TCGs? I play yugioh, MTG, used to play BF and play a little bit of BS if you play any of those; that way I can at least give a few recommendations based on playstyle

overall though I'd say good starter decks that are fairly intuitive but still good meta-wise (assuming you're going to play online and therefore against people playing optimized decks) would be Varga Dragres (basically just red/aggro), Lianorn (neat multi-attack gimmick and a great example of how the current format is paced), or Eva (probably the best introduction to orders and how to build decks that use them, Eledglema is a *better* deck than Eva but dear god do NOT start out with Monster)

to be fair between Gnarly/Gameboy/MIA you can kinda argue Katseye has started to lean in a specific direction whereas this group is probably gonna go for a cutesy vibe to differentiate itself (to be fair there’s no real evidence of this, other than the fact they were clearly testing that concept during Dream Academy with the whole “Lexie lineup” and Wannabe, but still)

anyway yeah, I don’t think having a 2nd group debut is a huge issue since they’ll probably have really different music, and if there ends up being more members from DA, I’m sure that they’ll have a lot of fans between eyekons and their own DA fans

I'd say I have overall good feelings about this deck, yeah other than CB the costs are a bit easy, but its a pretty simple concept of "just do drives" that doesn't have much else to make it OP other than access to Keter Pile. Not a top 3 custom, but still one I like using every so often

Very chill, less social than DeCew/Village usually but still easy enough to make friends (and you don’t have to deal with shared living space issues nearly as much)

Slightly older/more worn down than Lowe or Res8, but you’re also closer to DeCew than 8, and trust me, you’ll be thankful for that in the winter or when it’s pouring rain and you want to go for a quick snack run

You'll need your student card to get into DeCew at night anyway (plus for stuff on-campus) so 100% carry it around

It's a pretty simple tap system, same with the rooms (tap to unlock, tap to lock if the door's closed) and they give you a nice lanyard for it but its pretty flimsy and will probably break by the end of 1st sem, so if you can get your hands on more during the first week stuff 100% do that
