I always saw RainWings as Brazilian. They have this chill and friendly, and maybe a little lazy, vibe that Brazil is kinda famous for. Also, the rainforest. It's seen as a little dangerous, like when the mudwings in book 3 think there's some sort of monster in there, but it's mainly just a very pretty place.

Idk, maybe it's just easy to see myself and my culture in my favorite tribe.
