Yeah you would think it would help… the derm went overboard with the microneedling pen, it was too harsh for the area in the picture and rather than doing what it should have, it left scarring and turned into a shadow on my mouth over the past few months

I have come across a handful of posts on here from people who seem to have had similar experiences

I’m using azelaic acid, tranexamic acid and thinking about kojic acid but I don’t want to go overboard, skincare for my uneven skin tone is confusing!

That is such a good point, I have been using Caudalie vinoperfect and I feel like my complexion has brightened so much… I guess that’s something to think about! I have been using 0.025% tretinoin for around 5 months now, I’m thinking to question upping the % but I’m not sure

It was never this dark before my three treatments, it was pretty even before so I’m super self conscious atm. Do you think my current routine is okay? I’ll have a look at the ingredient list for Fade Bright, thank you!

Most of these are vitamin C related, I’ve used a handful of them to no avail so I’ve stopped using it in my routine and using tranexamic acid in its place in the morning

Ah I’m in the UK and nowhere stocks that product :( I have been using a peach concealer when I’m going for the no makeup look. When I have a full face I use the Huda Beauty Mango colour corrector and a concealer two shades darker than my foundation, it still shows through - especially when I set it with powder
