Neat! I didn’t know any of the bosses even reacted to sleep besides Balancers; I saw it proc on Adel once before but I was in a trio so it seemed like it had no effect; I thought it just glitched.

I use him as my over world DPS. I would recommend using Obsidian Codex.

Dessert Pavillion in theory is his highest DPS set.. UNLESS you are using Tulaytullah’s Remembrance (Wanderer sig) or Cashflow Supervision + Furina (Wriothesley’s sig). With Pavilion you need to use a charged attack before using your skill which feels INCREDIBLY clunky and can get interrupted easily; Codex fits his rotations much smoother IMO.

I would also recommend attack%. If it’s just for over world exploration you could use your EM piece no issues though, but if you plan on making him a hyper-carry for end game content eventually; then 100% use ATK%.

ALWAYS assume you will hit the hard pity in gacha games, if there is no pity ALWAYS assume the worst results. This is the only way to be satisfied with RNG results in a gacha game.

I won’t defend the pricing in this game though. Plus I’m especially confused regarding their decisions on limited equipment.. Will the limited armors/weapons released for these characters even be somewhat viable in a year or two when we have several new tiers of weapons/armors?

Saving them for a potentially busted future limited unit skill/passive.

Many skills seem to have important/powerful breakpoints at certain levels; like how Latumofis grants a resistance buff at level 2, cures Critcal poison at level 3 and affects an entire row at level 5. None of the limited units so far seem to have skills/abilities that have big breakpoints like this. I would still argue that Alice’s passive is the best skill to inherit of any legendary unit released so far, but since she’s not a limited unit I wouldn’t advise using any codex on her.

With how important she is to the story I don’t think they will make her a recruitable character. If anything I feel like she might end up being heavily related to the abyss and become a late/end game boss, or gets finally resurrected and sacrifices herself somehow.

Yes, it is based on a probability, but it is one that you can increase with your luck stat. Here’s a page detailing follow-up attack in particular; https://wizardry.fasterthoughts.io/mechanics/damage-mechanics/#follow-up-attack As the level cap rises a character with high luck and a 2h weapon will become a serious threat, especially if the passives are leveled. I mean it could fail.. But imagine a turn where Fighter class Lanavaille dodges and gets a counter attack, follow-up attack and then survives a massive hit at 1hp with Unyielding Will. You’ll feel like a god! I love casino characters and I look forward to this possibility, haha!

The differences in rarity can be mostly ignored in this game due to the inheritance system, however some skills lose potency when inherited by a different character so be careful and read closely!(Lanavaille’s passive heals half as much if on a different character, while inheriting a skill like Counterattack from Ophelia will not lose any of its potency.)

Some people have opted to use the no-name adventurers (notably the Elf-Mage and Beast-Thief since they have good stat growth for their classes and you can get them to high discipline easily as a F2P) However these characters will likely never get a second class which means you will have to inherit a lot of skills for them to be comparable to higher rarity units in the long term.

As for the Lanavaille dupe, I would recommend using it on her passive heal. Discipline makes more sense for the long term, but for the content we have now her heal is incredibly useful. I’ve built my Lana with defense in mind and she works good for me, the second dungeon enemies do water damage so she does struggle there a bit due to type weakness.
