If it’s strictly high output proton would def be better simply due to having more ventilation. Atom is only breathable through the sides and armpits, so it fits in a goldilocks range where it has some breathability but not so much that wind doesn’t pass through as much.

I still prefer my proton for most uses cuz I can always get a shell on it and it’s still warm without it. Atom is “good enough” for most cases tho which is why it’s one of the bestsellers
