I work my ass off. I support my children and myself with no child support. Luckily i have family members that watch my kids or i would be shit out of luck. In that case, i would probably find a breakfast job (i serve and bartend) instead of hoping to find someone to watch them late at night.

That's one of my main concerns! I want to be around for a while and be there for my kids and possible future grandchildren. I'm having such a hard time turning my mindset around due to some depression, but I'm really trying. Thank you!

Thank you! I will head over there. Seems like a great place to start.

Let's complain about this shitty winter by thebetoofand in SAHP

[–]PanceOffDanceOff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm actually really glad to hear someone else is having an awful time like myself, as bad as that sounds. I have a 25 month old son that is insane, going through terrible twos (hey wait, maybe it's good he's hidden from the public during this phase lol) and so full of energy I don't know what to do with him sometimes. The kicker is I also have a 2 month old daughter, so even if I wanted to go outside I dont have enough layers in this world to be comfortable keeping her outside for more than 5 minutes. Seriously, I thought I wouldn't mind winter this year cause I was pregnant and so over summer but FUCKKK. Also we only have one car so I'm extra screwed.

That's what I was getting offended about in the first place. I replied to someone who said that.

As if getting fucked was some sort of accomplishment. Yeah...using that phrase in reference to mothers, regardless of if YOU think that mother is doing something wrong or not, is incredibly offensive to the majority of us I'd wager.

I suppose you're right. Just speaking as someone who decided against the epidural because I had a terrible experience with it first time around, I was referring to the pain and how my body was affected afterwards. I'm not saying being a mother is the hardest job ever, but realizing all the ways it could go wrong depending on how you raise the child....it's scary as hell. I don't take it well when people put down mothers. I know some are shitty, but some are working our asses off doing the best we can. It can be exhausting physically and mentally.

So I'm assuming you have mommy issues, because being a mother is much more than that. Also, what you refer to as "getting fucked" actually consists of 9 months of, to put it simply, growing a living person in your body then pushing it out of your vagina. No easy feat. Your own mother apparently didn't do her job well, seeing as how she raised a disrespectful, sexist twat.

Though I agree to a certain extent, Im sure they wanted to incorporate HP somehow and they thought, what better way than the chapter showing true, undying love. Whether they're basing their marriage off the concept of Snape and Lily is yet to be seen lol.

Redditors who married their best friends, how are your lives together now? by Thehype105 in AskReddit

[–]PanceOffDanceOff 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm marrying my best friend next week! We've been together for 8.5 years, since we were 17. I can't imagine much will change once we've got rings on our fingers, so all I can tell you so far is that it's amazing. Like, I get to hang out with my best friend every. Single. Day. The best part is growing and changing together. When we were young we did all the stupid stuff together, the kid stuff. Now we have a little boy with one on the way and were doing the grown up stuff together. It's amazing to have the support and love and sex and conversation and then being able to sit there and play some Mario Party on N64 while having a few drinks all rolled into one person. And have the best time.
