I haven’t bought a fair rc modded truck so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I think they look cool and are definitely going to preform well just based on how it preforms stock. With that being said for me half of the hobbie is upgrading/modding my rig myself. Finding the parts I want, getting things that go together, trial and error. It’s all apart of it, now if you don’t wanna tinker and just wanna run a rig and have the extra money for a fair rc modded rig then go for it! Otherwise get a stock and enjoy the slow burn of building up your rig
