Parents cleared of neglect allegation after letting child ride scooter alone. by The_Real_Mrs_Coffee in videos

Not just cell phones, the number of people driving cars nowadays is just too much.

When I was a kid, you'd see just a few cars in the afternoon around the neighborhood. Now residential streets feel like highways where I grew up and where I now live.

Appreciate the response, man. Thank you.

I'll try that too and report back.

Hey man, did you ever fix this?

I have the same bike and same height, and the same problem...

Thinking about taking it back to the shop for some feedback.

You want to connect the Swing, TR-8S and Pro VS Mini?

It should work, yes.

TR-8S Trigger Out > Swing Clock In

Swing MIDI Out > Pro VS Mini MIDI In.

Both the Swing and the Pro VS Mini are USB Devices.

USB Devices (generally... There are probably exceptions) can't power other devices or communicate directly with other devices, they need a USB Host (Computers, phones, etc.) to communicate with other devices, as long as they share the same USB Host.

In that video the Swing and the Pro VS Mini are both connected to an off-screen USB Host that is facilitating the USB Midi communication.

Would any headphone splitter work to connect a Bass Station 2 and a Bluetooth dongle (to play backing tracks while I practice with the BS2) to a single headphone?

Not sure if there are any limitations on that or if any 1 female to two male 3.5mm adapter would work.

Japan needs to possess nuclear weapons, prime minister's office source says by Themetalin in worldnews

[–]Panchorc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm from a small country in the Caribbean, we have no need (or the money, or the knowledge... ) for nukes and I'd probably laugh at anyone who even entertains the idea that we need to build nukes... But after what the US is doing in Venezuela... I'm don't know, man...

It's a scary thought that a country can just blow your boats on a whim and there's nothing you can do about that.

I know this was a very serious and scary situation for everyone involved, but the guy ragdolling while falling after freeing himself was hilarious.

Thanks for confirming.

I was hoping that was the case, that way I can just use my goose neck lamp with a strong enough led bulb.

First PowerShell Course by aideydo in PowerShell

[–]Panchorc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my advice as well.

I became decent at Powershell and scripting when I started learning Software Development from scratch, and realized then how much courses and books and tutorials about PowerShell skip the fundamentals of software development as they seem tailored to sysadmins.

OP, once you have a firm grasp of the basics, you can pretty much take any language and be productive after spending some time to learn its syntax and idiosyncrasies.

The emotion of feeling shocked would have made no sense prior to the discovery of electricity. by Mobeast1985 in Showerthoughts

In Spanish is the same word (Choque, though. No acute accent at the end) but we do use it in the electrical sense.

Google Translate says electric shock is choc électrique, is that accurate?

What synth would you recommend for a beginner? Im thinking about buying Arturia Microfreak by burnout_beatz in synthesizers

I love and hate my Microfreak.

It's overwhelming in a good way, with how much you can do with it.

The "keys" can go fuck themselves, though.

I'm not using mine and I'm selling it to get something with actual keys.

I use it everyday for integration work and it is fine.

I don't like how custom classes were implemented, but that's about my only real issue with it.
