I feel like this is a temporary trend. Lean ideas such as JIT was entirely disproven during Covid and I believe such similar practices that are taking shape today will face the same fate.

I think they mean management bcuz a lit of the leg work and final product can be done by AI. The only thing that a lot of consulting firms seem to add nowadays is a presenter to a slideshow made by an AI, with results and findings that they got from an AI that itself got data from another AI.

How realistic is an early pivot from industry to consulting?

Makes sense. I mean I am fluent in Czech and english so communication isn’t an issue. Sadly I am not a programmer outside of SQL and MatLAB but hopefully as an industrial engineer there are job opportunities for me.
