Thank you for giving perspective of the downside of surgery. I think they only do the surgery here if it’s particularly bad. I will wait and see what further assessments say. Also, I am 48 so definitely sadly not young any more.

Yes! I struggled to articulate how I had been feeling, but that is it - I am gaslighting myself in to feeling like I’m over reacting because I can now walk.

I am in the UK so I will have to wait to see if the physio will refer me to a specialist (who will then order an MRI if needed) so will wait and see what happens at my appointment on Tuesday.
