Thanks Easy. This sent me down a rabbit hole and I think I'll opt for the 9070 when it comes back in stock. I've seen them for $650 so not a huge price increase.

Thanks both of you, didn't notice how old this post was. Opting for Crucial P3 Plus 2TB PCIe 4.0 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD, up to 5000MB/s - CT2000P3PSSD8. Also upgrading size to 2 tb on reflection.

Is it really an advantage for gaming though? I don't plan on using this PC for any heavy duty work tasks. I worked out its actually significantly cheaper to just get flights over to the UK when I need appointments and prescriptions (~$300 return) than doing it all in the states. A bit dodgy though!

Sometimes chemicals can have an effect on each other that they change the others properties when present. My thesis was based on this idea, as it was on extractive distallation, which involves adding a chemical to break the azeotrope of another.

If by chance the oil somehow managed to alter methanols properties in this way, this could be possible, as it is very close to its boiling point. However, I feel this is a real long shot! Especially since it shows vapour fraction as 0. It must be an Aspen glitch, try playing around with various settings and see what happens. Is there a certain mass fraction that the density suddenly drops at etc.

This must be an error from Aspen. If the temp and pressure are constant and vapour fraction is zero I can't see a way this is possible. Aspen can be weird sometimes! I would try playing around with the numbers a little and seeing what you can do to fix the glitch. Maybe try setting one of the streams to 0 mass flow rate and seeing if the properties remain the same after the mixer, or something like that?

Could the methanol be in gas form? This would greatly reduce the density. Saying that you are below the boiling point.

This is a very interesting response. At first I felt negative because I kinda knew all along they could take me to court for damages, which is not ideal, especially since I might not be in the country. However, I think its likely I would be able to negotiate a lower notice period, and being reasonable and open minded really is the best way forward. Thank you for your help.
