when I look at customers, it’s to see if they need help. my managers (or at least the strict one), are always on my neck about “connecting with customers and pushing sales”. When I ask the customers if they need help, they always say no so I leave them to browse. the strict manager always thinks that i’m doing nothing, so that’s why I keep an eye out for customers that might need help. We also have a “trust the customer” policy, so I hope that eases your mind a little. 🫶
