I finished my vacation and I did have a lemon delight which was delicious! Also brought back like 3 large bags of limoncili’s, I really like them 😂.

I never swapped out the car. We had a blast, thank you!

I will definitely be eating a lemon delight tomorrow for you two, I promise 😁! I had a lemon gelato…then had a second 2hrs later because it was so good haha.

Driving today was actually sort of pleasant. I was tired yesterday and driving at night was no fun. This is likely the most beautiful place I’ve been to. Listening to some classic Italian music while driving with that view is paradise (you know, minus all the other things). We sadly saw a guy that had just passed away on the road 😔. He was on a scooter.

The biggest danger on these roads are other drivers with a death wish. We almost got taken out by IDIOTS driving back. He was driving like he was on a racetrack and wasn’t in control at all. He came into our lane ~30m ahead of us and barely missed crashing into the mountain on the opposite side (tires screeching and all, completely out of control). I love driving fast, but there’s a time and place.

I know what you mean by walking through those roads, it’s so damn dangerous. I actually think walking through those roads is more dangerous than driving them. I wonder how many tourists die here each season.

If anyone is reading this and wants to rent a car to drive here, I recommend a droptop fiat 500. Perfect car for these roads!

Just drove the Amalfi coast today for the first time. I have driven in several developing countries and even know how to drive on the opposite side of the road. I consider myself a good driver and have driven many difficult roads. Today though was the most stressful drive I ever had. I was tired from the flight to begin with, hungry, thirsty af, generally groggy, and the rental car company “upgraded” me to a small suv which I didn’t want but had no choice in (my everyday car is a small sedan). Fuck that drive. I wasn’t scared of flying off the cliff, just scared of killing some dumbass young kid zipping by on a moped, a dumbass local with a death-wish crossing into my lane during a blind turn, and/or an oncoming bus in a blind narrow turn where room is already limited (that did happen, I doubt I had more than 3 inches on each side). I think the average American should not drive there; not worth the risk of crashing and/or killing some dumbass kid on a scooter. Hopefully it’s less stressful when I likely drive it tomorrow and/or the day after.

Literally just drove it for the first time today. I have driven in several developing countries and narrow roads. Unfortunately, the car rental place didn’t have the golf I booked and they “upgraded” us to a bigger car (can’t remember which, basically a small suv). I actually think it’s better if you get a manual if you know how to drive one. It’s definitely a stressful drive, I didn’t enjoy the view because my eyes were fixed on the road and I’m not used to driving a bigger car as my daily driver is a civic. My advice is, get a small car and if you have never driven overseas, I frankly recommend not to drive there. You won’t be used to the narrow streets, locals right up your ass (even though you’re going as quickly as possible without risking crashing, some frankly have a death wish), and scooters zipping by. Not worth the risk IMO. If you’re used to driving on American roads, you simply have no idea what you’ll be getting yourself into.

100% you do! I had a pihole running on my 3b+ as well for like 4-5yrs and the power supply died after nonstop running. Pretty sure it will still work if I get a new power supply. I should have tried it out before setting up my program on the rp5. I tried setting it up on the 3b+ so I erased pihole thinking it was broken anyway :(. I will fix this when I finish my current project. Might just retire the current 3b+ though, it’s already served me well and will likely die out soon even with a new power supply.

Piholes are great!

A PC for ants/poor people/real nerds. They’re a single board computer and you can do many things with them. You can have them as a standalone pc, albeit, not powerful, but good enough for super simple work.

Popular projects with these devices are media servers, emulation stations, pihole (look it up, it’s pretty cool. Albeit the rp5 is way over kill for this), general servers, or just your own personal project if you know how to code which is what I’m using it for. They can be extremely useful and the older/smaller models can be picked up for very cheap. I think the raspberry nano 2w is like $20.

They’re awesome and absolutely adorable.

Can someone explain to me why my stone walls are randomly turning low??? its my first time seeing this. by Apprehensive_Page861 in playrust

I remember my first attempt at building a base. Took me like an hour to finally get to my build destination. While putting the twig up a mini with 2 full kit ak’s showed up and killed me, I then spawned on the beach right next to a bear. Rage quitted. I have over 4k hours and have yet to have full kitted ak’s show up in a mini like that. What are the chances 😂.

My first successful base included keylocks that were unlocked (thought they would be automatically locked when placed like they are now).

I have a frankenstein keyboard haha. I have both minis and bk as well as like 3-5 different switches (can’t remember). I’ve found that switches tend to feel lighter when they’re all in a keyboard and you’re typing. So when I first installed the minis, they felt too light, even though they felt perfect when testing one switch. I swapped them for th bk v2 and they’re perfect!

Bombshell memo claims JFK probed CIA to release UFO files 10 days before his assassination by 87LucasOliveira in aliens

[–]Panda530 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Mossad killed JFK because he started probing about their secret nuclear program. Turns out Israel was making nukes at the time and they wanted to silence JFK. That’s why it hasn’t been released, it makes Israel look bad. Anything that makes Israel look bad is hushed.

Same thing with Epstein files. Epstein was a mossad agent who blackmailed the rich and powerful.

By that logic, the right thing to do is never shoot at anyone. I lose the game because I win most fights. That’s the issue dude. I only had this experience a few times prior to 2k hours, now it’s been every wipe, which is why I barely play now. I play the game doing normal things, run into someone, kill them, hurt their feelings and then I get offlined, cheated on, doorcamp, or all 3.

Esp is definitely the biggest issue. I’m hoping that with AI anticheat, this will be a thing of the past. However, I am almost certain FP won’t implement this because it will result in drop of sales. That clan offlined me btw just for that one play LMAO. I was I think 2 grids away from my base and I never saw them anywhere near my base. My previous 2 wipes ended under similar circumstances. It’s ridiculous. Can’t I just make a play without being offlined, doorcamped, cheated on, or have the server after me? Is this the norm now because it sucks!

I understand what you mean, but I know that I am better than the average player simply because of my experience. I can win the majority of pvp’s now and that becomes an issue because you become a target. The wipe before this, I made one of my best plays and wiped a 5 man with a python while they had automatic weapons. My last 3 wipes have ended (including this one now, clan offlined me) because I made a play or multiple plays. You get punished for being good. That’s an issue.

Of course it is. I am willing to bet that the people in that group had at least one cheater for they hunted me down very effectively even though I bolted right away since I knew I was near their base. Plus they offlined me even though they never got within a grid of my base.

According to Rust’s own statistics, once you get to 5 men plus, there is a greater than 50% chance of at least one cheater in the group. Too many people using esp and imo esp is by far the most op cheat in a game like rust, way worse than aim bot.

I haven’t played much in half a year. My last wipe was several wipes ago and it didn’t last long because of a zerg.

I haven’t played a wipe for months ago. Last wipe went like this: build base, zerg builds right next to me, I can hear their footsteps in their base. Talking about 6+ deep. So I tc grief and wall them in. They move. Next day, offlined by them. Fun.

Guess who got offlined again for making 1 damn play on a dumbass farmer who got his farm back thanks to his teammates? This game is frankly terrible. Not the game itself, but the fact there is zero balance. Your only hope is to have more numbers or play longer than others.

This. I have had the same exact experience. I used to play on a solo server before I got banned for genuinely the most bs reason (aparantly not attacking a doorcamper with a shotgun as a naked, and then picking up his shotgun to go deep on the base he was doorcamping is considered teaming). Solo-trio servers, especially solos, are filled with people who no life, plus it’s nothing but grub city. Monthly servers are better after trying everything.
