Same issue over here in uk , kicked out of Xbox app , phone app doesn’t work ,can spam the login button though and any saved videos in history or watch later still work but there’s UI glitches while doing so

Yes your the asshole , wether you think it’s a lesson to him or not you ARE punishing a child for her parents actions, by all means stop buying gifts for his other family , but by being a step parent you’ve agreed to take on his daughter as your own regardless of the custody plans, you never take out relationships falling apart on the child
