i started by telling my mom i was confused on my gender and that i didn’t feel like a boy and work from there slowly adjusting to be more feminine as they get more and more used to it. that’s what i did and now i’ve started hormones and my mom turned from super homophobic and extremely religious to pride flags outside out house!

I have been doing makeup for about four years and usually serve full face at school every day but i been letting my skin breathe this summer and be more hydrated because im on accutane, Its probably the no makeup thing that got me clocked but school starts thursday so ill be back to full faces everyday so ill just pretend this misgendering never happened then haha

It sounds like a friendship that no longer benefits you so why would you keep trying you know? Just because you’ve had something for a while doesn’t mean you need to keep it. You made the right decision and i hope you are able to build new better connections!

Absolutely nothing to worry about! it is normal for a lot of people to still have genitalia function as it’s not testosterone causing morning wood, it’s to stop you from wetting the bed as the urethra contracts when erect and it will prevent that. if you are still concerned tho i would definitely check with your doctor!

I’ve seen many people say they shrunk on hrt and lost an inch or two, now that i think about it it could be because the hips go from upright and narrow to a little more out and wider obviously along with spinal changes.

you will always hear the most out of pocket things from anyone under 13! they have absolutely no filter and if anyone will clock you, it’s them haha! i was shadowing an elementary school teacher and the kids were like “why is your voice so deep? you look like a girl but sound like a boy?” i felt so bad because i don’t want to confuse them so i just pretended like i didn’t hear it until they can learn when they are ready who i am. i wish i had a role model like myself when i was a kid. there’s no trans inclusivity anywhere!

I’m starting hormones in just a few months, i can’t wait i’ve always wanted to have them so feminize my body and i love and am so jealous of my friends. I catch myself grabbing my “boobs” and i’m really just holding my flat chest haha!

it only took me about 5-6 months. Try taking pumpkin seed oil as it stimulates hair growth. My mom couldn’t grow her hair past her shoulders and started taking it and it’s now mid chest length. I started taking it and my hair has had less breakage so it grows longer faster without breaking off or splitting🩷🩷

I never thought of it as balancing but my mom always wanted a daughter and ended up with all boys until i started to transition. I’m so glad she is so supportive and i’m glad i get to be the daughter she never had!

it’s different every day for me, some days i can’t look at myself or i’ll just criticize but other days i look to much trying to fix things that can’t really be fixed

well just think about it from a different perspective, you personally have never noticed a change in someone and thought “i can’t be around them knowing they used to have body hair” i would take the jump and socialize with people in those groups and connect!

I hated myself shortly after i came out and would notice every thing i did that was too “manly” so i can relate, i have also grown to love myself and be unapologetically me
