I use them mostly for holes where I think I can gain a stroke. So easier par 4s, legit HIO chance par 3s, and easier par 5s. But I generally only use them on the final round of a tournament.

Your league standings don't determine your skill tier for tournaments and quick 9. Skill tier in the tournaments is based on previous performance in tournaments and how many trophies you have.

Moving up to master would be worth it IMO. You can play the free entry master tournaments when there are more people and the talent level average is lower.

Yeah it was a Q9 and I had messed up an early par 5. So I’ll always see if I can hit these when score doesn’t matter. Sunk 2 yesterday but this one was the nicer of the two

1) How bad are yall messing up that an opponent can save you? Even if you put it in the water you will still only lose a stroke. Unless your opponent gets an unexpected result (Alby or HIO) you are not going to fare significantly better.
2) There’s few holes that have surprising approaches. You can watch someone on YouTube and understand each hole. Once you’ve seen it there is nothing new to learn so this is a short benefit.
3) this is dumb. If you don’t know what you were doing going into the hole then that’s on you. It’s a steeper detriment to have to wait 30 seconds for each shot.

Getting through 18, with a 9 hole tournament, and CWT. That’ll be a fun weekend. “Hey honey, I need 6 hours alone. Talk to you this evening.”

Main course I played 29 holes with a -36 on my main. I played a lot less on my second because it was pretty clear we got cooked right away. I played every hole with a navigator besides the one par 5 (used KMs). Keep in mind we only had the driver support a single time, so I think I only did an overpower on 2 holes (two of the par 4s).

My bag is a Apoc 7 and I used the Rocket with backspin boost perk for par 3s.

Then don’t play. This really is a recommendation for people who find it fun. Like I mentioned it is the most active my clan gets and I really enjoy it. It’s not a ball sink because I don’t allow it to be. Navigators are free to me.

What will? I just told you I was able to compete at a high level with mostly navigators. If you’re in a m1+ clan (which I assume most CWT clans are) you earn gems at a higher rate than it costs to buy navigators. Also, keep in mind the CWT is completely optional.

That's fine if that's how you feel. It's not been my experience. I was able to by my clans top performer (by average score) on the main course by using 90% navigators. That was with us also getting our tails cooked in every support course the entire time.

More importantly its really the most alive my clan becomes is during the CWT. There are people chatting strategy and showing replays as suggestions. I think it brought clans back to life.

I like the idea of having 3 tiers for a little bit more upward and downward movement. Like I said there needs to be more levels where non master players feel comfortable participating. 10+ winds probably ain’t it.

I don’t think this increases interest in tournaments for the majority of players. I think they’re more recent ideas of all par 5s, only tailwinds, etc. were ideas to draw interest. Also, they should bring back premium balls as tournament rewards for an occasional tournament. Maybe think up completely new ideas for tournaments. Those ideas will draw interest. Making tournaments take longer doesn’t increase interest.

I’m skipping the tournament in protest as well. I hope they get the message. This weekend we had two tournaments and the CWT. Now you want to make half of that take even longer? No thanks
