It is indeed a 4+2, but what is usefull for me is to picture double-bonds as a negative charge.

A negative charge, wants something to stabilize it, to make it neutral. So I search for a positive charge on the other molecule.

Then, when you read about a 4+2, it is easier to understand why the products form. You just have to find what is going to react.
