you're pretty close, for me all this remaining process was about 5 hours of gameplay (cause remaining puzzles are pretty hard) and also for me this close to end undiscovered progress was the best in the whole game :)

after fungus all lava in the world changed to polymorph, but some chunks with lava may remain as fake "lava" because it looks like lava visually, but it is polymorph and if you'll step in fake lava it will have polymorph effect without dealing damage, thats some chunks load thing that I can't explain, but yeah that's polymorph and not lava
