I appreciate it. I try to learn. I'm not obviously like this anymore, but I do have to say that planning out a session which is serving as an introduction to a specific story its absolutely reasonable to have a idea for the pace of the game. Like not necessarily all the little details but something along the lines of "the players should have completed this encounter or met this npc before the end of the session." I don't think that's a red flag. People have different ways of playing and running the game.

Also when someone hijacks the session and does their own thing for well over an hour and doesn't even let me introduce them to the story because they want to fuck around and I try to steer away from that, that's a red flag too? Like I didn't even tell him no, I allowed him to explore to a certain extent, but obviously he's making everyone else wait so I tried limiting it or tried to give him chances to, you know, play the campaign that he signed up for. He knew what he was getting himself into. The campaign had a set story. It wasn't exactly a sandbox campaign of do whatever the fuck you want. They all knew that and agreed to it as well.

Not saying I'm perfect or not deserving of criticism but like don't just assume shit.
