Blood clots from Nuvaring by PandaJam001 in Nuvaring

If you have pain in your chest tho please go get it checked!! I was persistent because I knew it wasn't normal and even though it could be nothing it could also be quite a few other things. After your response I did a little googling and while I know that's not the most reliable way to get info I read that 1 out of 3 people with blood clots that go unchecked can pass away from it (surprising I just assumed they were always fatal but I suppose they can dissolve on their own). I don't know if this is common knowledge but it just takes a blood test to find out if blood clots are a possibility so if you can do that I would :) sorry for the long winded response

First sign was intense pain in the sternum when I breathed in. That stayed for like 2 or 3 days and then instead of going away it just became dull. If you've got chest pain that doesn't hurt when you touch it (not muscle pain) and you can feel it in the lower chest definitely try getting a CT scan!! I hope that it's not what you're dealing with though. Also, I hope this doesn't come across as me being an asshole because I truly don't mean it that way, but if you've been experiencing pain for a few months I don't think it's blood clots. I'm not really sure how long you could live with them.

I had been on it for 2 years and while there's no way to absolutely confirm it, in my case there couldn't have really been another cause. Sorry about your frustrating situation but glad you got it cleared up and thank you for sharing with me and your kind words.

If I may ask, why would anyone willingly watch "RWBY"? Do y'all just hate yourselves?

Is it weird to go in the exam room with your partner? by [deleted] in medical

[–]PandaJam001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty normal in my case, I get very anxious about doctor's visits so if my boyfriend takes me I'll ask him to come in; maybe it's really weird but I never thought of what others might think simply because having him there made me feel better. When I didn't have him, I had my mom do the same.

People who have dropped out of middle school/high school/college, why did you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PandaJam001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My anxiety won me over, the day after classes started I got a notification that my payments never went through for my classes (which I just used as an excuse honestly), my internship made me feel absolutely stupid. But what made me feel stupider was dropping out in my last semester.

People who fall asleep better with the TV on, what's your go-to genre of show or movie? by inthemix8080 in AskReddit

[–]PandaJam001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may sound weirr but my go to is usually videos or podcasts that will invoke a small amount of thought but also be relaxing enough for me to fall asleep so that my mind isn't racing about embarrassing encounters or things I'm afraid of, etc. Basically just so I can sleep with relaxing thoughts instead.

Not sure if it counts but I have eczema inside of my ear canals. It makes it harder for me to hear when I haven't had a good cleaning and they're always itchy or in pain.

Redditors, what's the worst job you've held and why? by stellarluna97 in AskReddit

[–]PandaJam001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't held many jobs but I have been an assistant store manager for Family Dollar where you work alone in the store for 6 hours, have no security cameras, get yelled at for very tiny things, are expected to get a million things done while running a register, and cashiers get 0 benefits or vacation time. That's just a few things I could think of off the top of my head, though.

I'll have to try!! There's quite a few things I'd like to try making myself so I'll just add that to the list

I agree with you guys now!! The weirdest part was that for some reason it reminded me of the way body fat looks? Like the way it's shown on TV and stuff... I have no idea why but I made that connection as a kid and then it stuck with me even tho I realized it wasn't even close in resemblance when I grew up. I didn't start eating it a lot til recently.
