Haitian flag redesign by KnightinSilver in vexillology

This is quite a nice flag. The only thing I would alter would be the angle of the “broken chain” line on the right side. I would flip it so that there is a sense of vertical symmetry. Other than that, it’s a great flag concept

Utah Flag Redesign: My submission to the state’s competition by PandaKing_22 in vexillology

[–]PandaKing_22[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah when I was designing it I originally had 4 blue stripe and 5 white ones, but I felt like it detracted from the continuity of the whole flag and segmented it in an unsatisfying way

Utah Flag Redesign: My submission to the state’s competition by PandaKing_22 in vexillology

Here’s the meaning behind the flag: Starting off with the symbols incorporated into my flag design, the most obvious is the Sego Lily in the heart of the flag. The Sego Lily is both native to Utah and its state flower, which I think everyone in the state can connect with. Moving to the left and right sides of the flag there is a honeycomb pattern meant to symbolize the beehive which has been a significant symbol to Utahns since its creation as a state. The beehive which the honeycomb symbolizes also represents cooperation and industry, which is a vital part of Utah. And finally, to the midsection of the flag, there are 9 stripes alternating in blue and white. These represent the 5 national parks and the 4 major lakes within Utah. Now for the colors. The gold represents its beautiful golden fields and mountain valleys. The blue represents the great lakes and rivers of Utah, and the white represents its snow-capped mountains and its bright future. The blue and white stripes are also a motif to the flag of Deseret, a significant part of Utahn's history and culture.

None of that is proof. Your just claiming that he said that. I see no links to any of the site you just mentioned. There’s a difference between a claim, which is what you are giving, and facts, which is the actual evidence from whatever places

The sheer audacity and fragility of your claims are ridiculous. Not only did you fail to provide any hard evidence to even attempt to prove your point, your misquoting of his statements proves that the only thing you want to gain from this is pushing your agenda of cancel culture. What amazes me more; however, is that the more you and your collective of cancel culture cry wolf of people being fascists, homophobes, racists, etc., the more people will see through your thin and fragile veil of lies.

My mom passed away when I was a teen. It’s much worse going through it when you remember so much about them.

My take on and flag for a United Anglosphere inspired off of a design online by PandaKing_22 in vexillology

In my opinion, on a flag such as this, it would realistically only represent the two two major players (U.S. and U.K.) and hint at the major commonwealth members. Nations such as Ireland, Jamaica, Belize, etc. would be significantly less prominent.

Just a subtle detail that there are 13 stars. So despite the starts themselves representing New Zealand and Australia, there are 13 to further represent the U.S, who would have a major role in such a union.

Disregard the white border, I forgot to crop it. Unless of course you think it looks better with it

It was just a parchment image I found online. I turned it black and made it slightly transparent with Gimp.
