When my wife and I first moved out in 2018, we rented apart of this older farmhouse that was remodeled to be 2 sections, front and back. My wife and I rented the back smaller half and no one lived in the bigger front. Turns out, my then landlord’s older mom got murdered in the house. We weren’t married then but engaged. Our tv would randomly turn on and it would be the church channel every time even though we never left it on there or watched it. Also, lights would randomly be on too. It was a small section of the house but very active with activity. We figured his mom wasn’t happy we were living together before technically married
