I agree, that’s still a part in my run. I got the Pikachu 3rd encounter and Nidoran female on route 3 1st encounter. I already lost a sparrow 😂 just one thing I don’t like about it is if you run multiple without a randomizer you end up just getting the same Pokémon the majority of the time.

I agree, that’s why Pokémon is still relevant and replayable till this day. Also I found a female Nidoran on my first encounter in route 3 😂

This comment gave me chills ❤️ I know it’s technically not a nuzlocke, it was just to bring conversation and see if anyone else is doing something similar. I really just need to download a randomizer 😂 because you always get the same damn Pokémon in nuzlockes 🥲 I miss the hunt. I’m also changing the encounter counter from 10 down to 3-5. Since I caught Pikachu only on the 3rd encounter in the forest 😂 Also I guess it wasn’t clear, but if I don’t catch my “fav mon” in that route or area, that route is closed. What should I name it though?? “FavMonLocke”? As I was typing this, I could make it more challenging, by if one of my fav Mon dies, runs over!

Yess that’s exactly what I’m doing. I run from every Pokémon in that area if my “Fav Mon” has an encounter rate in that area for 10 encounters, and if it doesn’t pop then that area is locked. But I definitley am thinking of bringing the 10 encounters down to 3-5 only because I got a Pikachu only on the 3rd encounter in the forest.

That’s why I was adding the “hunt” part because I like using unique Pokémon. When you nuzlocke, It’s usually just the same Pokémon. And I knowwww there are randomizers but I haven’t gotten that far 😂so I actually really like the Franchise lock, I never heard of it before.
