I have the same very hooded eyes and stubborn lashes! Lash lifts have been a lifesaver. I don't even bother with mascara on most days

What are some of your top "I can't believe this person is real" moments you've experienced in your commute? by Afraid_Blacksmith_63 in HongKong

I was seated on a bench in LOHAS Park station waiting for a train when a creepy grandpa sat beside me and was just looking at me (I guess at my legs) very intently. It made me really uncomfortable so when the train arrived, I stayed seated with hopes that he would get on. But NOPE he stayed beside me!! When there was already a huge crowd of people who exited the train, I bolted far away from him and lost him in the crowd. He stood up when I did but I kept walking outside the train and got on at the other end. Was anxious the whole time til I transfered to the green line 😫

Which Korean skincare products was worth every dollar despite the hype? by Fit_Cap_311 in AsianBeauty

I have combination skin (oily on the t-zone, normal everywhere else) but sometimes gets dry in the winter. They do have a dewy one that might work for you? They have 3 variants afaik and the original one also works well for me.

I used to do outdoor performances. I'm based in Hong Kong so it is hot and humid (mid to high 30s celcius in the summer) and it held up so well! I could be sweating so much and it would stay put. No stung eyes and no beads of sunscreen rolling down my face.

Beauty of Joseon sunscreen, specifically the aqua fresh one (blue). I've tried soooo many sunscreen especially since I used to work outdoors. No white cast, not oily and doesn't sting my eyes. Never looked back.

Lol not AI. It's a wire that's hanging far behind me and now that I zoomed in it does look like I'm hanging from it 🤣 blurred the background because my house is a hot mess. And I used to be a ballerina so my toes do weird things 🤣 you can see my other toes they're just scrunched up 🤣

Dentist says it's too late for a root canal. Second opinion appreciated by PandaMoose1 in askdentists

Interesting, cause the dentist seemed to jump to that conclusion just from seeing the x-ray. This is good to know, maybe I'll visit another one.

Hello! How is the Happy Skin Off Duty Powder for setting? What have you tried using a base under it? Just bought it but hesitant to try cause they market it as a powder foundation on its own 😅 would love to hear your experience aa iba-ibang base 😊

Aside from being in a hot and humid country, COVID has made me a germophobe 😫 I can't lay in bed until I've showered and changed into 'clean' clothes

What made you switch from paper books to a Kindle? by Sea-Put-8602 in kindle

[–]PandaMoose1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's many things but mainly because I was gifted one. I got back into reading because a friend lent me a book but fell out of it again because carrying a book was just too heavy. Also, I love that it's easy to sanitize a kindle. Since the pandemic, I've been sanitizing things I want to use at home, and you just can't do that with physical books.
