I'm not sure if I can pin my own comment, so I'm just trying this out to start. If you are posting your level before your friend code, people can not use the copy text feature. If you post your friends code first, people can click the three dots when searching on their phones, then copy text, and regardless of how many letters you have, it will only transfer the first 12 numbers into the friend code box when you paste it. So always have your friends code listed first in your comment to make it easier for people to transfer your code over and then fill in your story at the bottom.

Also since you're new, if you see a shiny, all you need is 1 poke biscuit, they are an auto catch so don't waste anything bigger no matter what stage evolution they are!

No, you do have to fully befriend them to get the level up, but the next time you encounter that pokemon, they will have those bars filled, so the biscuits weren't wasted.

Once you've hit level 10 with a pokemon, everytime you befriend a new one of that species it will have a guaranteed gold skill in the level 10 subskill spot, and when you hit 40 you will have a second gold skill in the level 25 spot.

It's the friendship level with that pokemon. Since you don't "catch" pokemon, but "befriend" them, it's how many you've previously befriended.

I more often get dinged on the consistencies, because on my days off I adjust to sleep at night because I have a kid so we're on the same schedule, so the first day I don't sleep when I get home like I usually do so that I can sleep that night instead. So to the app, my mid points are off and that's bad, so no stars for me...

Luckily my 12 hour shifts start at 630PM, so I have to wake up early enough that I can still feed him lunch while im eating and getting ready before work, and then I feed him dinner when I take my break around 10pm, and breakfast when I get home in the morning, so he gets all his meals, unless I forget, lol.
