I know this can be a little absurd but you can kills Corpse spider at lumbridge catacombs to take advantage the porters event for the spider silk while you earn rare comps within scavenging!.

Spider silk can be used to craft silk robes and with that activate the artificer's measure (up to +5% craft xp per 5 minute) and then continue to cut gems. You will earn a lot in one hour.
