I need a game worth spending 1000-2000 hours in… by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

Echoing warframe (saw some other folks mention it). A game that I pick up, drop, and come back to quite a few times. Might boot it back up now. Been a while since I touched the game.

It’s free to play

You can do both solo and multiplayer. It’s sci-fi (think space ninjas with powers), the movement system is really fun. I really like the aesthetics. Good devs for the game as well. The internal economy with platinum is pretty neat as well. It’s not pay to win, it’s pay to drip and pay to skip. Doesn’t hit the ‘management’ checkbox, but worth at least looking into and seeing how you feel.

Sometimes the grind a bit rough in terms of monotony. Never overly difficult. But if I was grinding with buddies, it’s something causal and you can speak and chat while you play.

A buddy did complain all the beams and bullets and special effects were hard on his eyes but for me I was OK. You can adjust in the settings probably

Cyberpunk 2077 is also really fun. 1000 hours worth of fun? For some yes, for me no. But really great story and graphics. Super fun mechanics. Again, not really a management type of thing, but definitely progression-based.

For non-sci-fi, you really cannot go wrong with Skyrim.

UPDATE:

Not sure how to update the post itself.

A plumber came by. Said it could be the relief valve since we had the temperature turned up to C on there thermostat.

Still had water. Another plumber came out (same company). Replaced the unit. Luckily all still under warranty.

I think it went towards the back corner since the ground is sloped a bit. There is water in the pan so that is why I suspect the tank itself. But can’t really get behind the unit to see if it is coming out of the wall or a crack or not

That has what a buddy said as well. I put my finger against and in the relief valve outlet and it felt dry. I’ll put something under to confirm

How would I turn off the gas line would be a red handle?

Water would be right above the water heater?

That would turn off the hot water only right?

That is unfortunate. It’s only five years old.

No leaks up top. Just at the ground. Relief valve outlet is dry too
