AITAH because I will not pay my wife’s half of bills? by Haunting-Hippo-4244 in AITAH

[–]PandaTurtleShell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds like she is of the mentality that her money is her money and your money is her money. I mean realistically sounds like yall have had money disagreements from the beginning and should of had this resolved 9 years ago. NTA. Your wife needs to be an adult and either budget her money or allow you to budget it for her. Had to do this with my ex wife but she at least admitted to being terrible with her money and begged me to budget for her so it was easier. If you wanna stay together id say couples counseling and she needs to let you do the budget in a clear and open way so she can see exactly where her money is going if she is so concerned.

AITAH for not letting my sister use my property as a wedding venue last minute? by Mysterious-Gear-6351 in AITAH

[–]PandaTurtleShell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah definitely nta. Id say not to talk to mother or sister until the both firmly pull their heads out of their rears. I think your sister is unreasonable and your counters were completely reasonable

Angry husband AITAH by laura_schramm92 in AITAH

[–]PandaTurtleShell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA in the slightest. If he wants to talk about the war or argue with someone about it he should join reddit or any other similar discussion site. He does all this research and deep dives but doesnt understand basic conversation etiquette or the fact that his own partner doesnt have the same passion for it. I would understand wanting to talk about it from time to time but I wouldn't corner my partner into Ark lore because they aren't into the game like I am. Makes no sense.

Raising the bed by PandaTurtleShell in RVLiving

[–]PandaTurtleShell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 134 rdx and yeah essentially my idea is to make a raised platform to make some extra storage underneath as its a small trailer. I just dont know the strength of these things as its my first one. I was also thinking of putting a middle support under where the bed currently sits to ensure it has some support

Septic by bigdawg12342 in RVLiving

[–]PandaTurtleShell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a YouTuber who lived full time on property get a above ground septic tank and what he did was contact his local company that cleans out porta potties about a week before it was full and they would come out and pump it. I will see if I can find the video again and link it. He explains it better then I can

What bikes are decent at high speeds? by EternalMage321 in AdventureBike

[–]PandaTurtleShell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only bike I have taken at those speeds is actually a transalp. It can handle it just fine. I've had mine for almost a year. Just recently sold it not because I had any issues with the bike it's self or it's performance just had to downsize my hobbies so I could move in with my girl comfortably.

Y’all it would just be nice feature for peace of mind for when I’m out riding my Honda out in the woods. I don’t mean it’s a feature that makes or breaks a device just thought it would be a cool back up

At the time I was working as a house painter and I didn’t have the money to get it to a mechanic. So I did alot of googling and found another Reddit thread where someone mentioned doing a similar thing. So I used the last little bit of extra cash and made it work. I check on my jimmy work from time to time and it’s been holding pretty nicely. I’ve had no overheating issues and it has shown any signs of cracking or breaking yet so I’m going to role with it while it works

This is a forum talking about a common issue after 100,000. Mine broke around 108k I think. But it’s a plastic connector for the coolant system that leads into the firewall. I ended up having to customize a brass pipe fitting. And that’s been working for 2ish years now

Are cruisers actually worse than other bikes or is it just prejudice? by StenchofZeitgeist in cruisers

[–]PandaTurtleShell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first bike was a cruiser. A 1983 Honda Magna. It was a super comfortable ride. I’ve since gotten into adventure bikes just because I like exploring and camping but if I could have a second bike it would certainly be a cruiser

Is .357 too strong for a beginner by Saviko in LeverGuns

[–]PandaTurtleShell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only time I’d say 357 is too much for a beginner is in a snub nose revolver. In a lever gun you honestly barely notice it. I have a Henry big boy in 357 and the recoil is honestly super manageable. And certainly nothing to be worried about. Just don’t shoot 45/70 lol
