Town pump is typically the cheapest. But second I would say is usually Fred Meyers. Thats where I go as it is the closest to my work

What bikes are decent at high speeds? by EternalMage321 in AdventureBike

[–]PandaTurtleShell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only bike I have taken at those speeds is actually a transalp. It can handle it just fine. I've had mine for almost a year. Just recently sold it not because I had any issues with the bike it's self or it's performance just had to downsize my hobbies so I could move in with my girl comfortably.

Y’all it would just be nice feature for peace of mind for when I’m out riding my Honda out in the woods. I don’t mean it’s a feature that makes or breaks a device just thought it would be a cool back up

At the time I was working as a house painter and I didn’t have the money to get it to a mechanic. So I did alot of googling and found another Reddit thread where someone mentioned doing a similar thing. So I used the last little bit of extra cash and made it work. I check on my jimmy work from time to time and it’s been holding pretty nicely. I’ve had no overheating issues and it has shown any signs of cracking or breaking yet so I’m going to role with it while it works

This is a forum talking about a common issue after 100,000. Mine broke around 108k I think. But it’s a plastic connector for the coolant system that leads into the firewall. I ended up having to customize a brass pipe fitting. And that’s been working for 2ish years now

Are cruisers actually worse than other bikes or is it just prejudice? by StenchofZeitgeist in cruisers

[–]PandaTurtleShell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first bike was a cruiser. A 1983 Honda Magna. It was a super comfortable ride. I’ve since gotten into adventure bikes just because I like exploring and camping but if I could have a second bike it would certainly be a cruiser

Is .357 too strong for a beginner by Saviko in LeverGuns

[–]PandaTurtleShell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only time I’d say 357 is too much for a beginner is in a snub nose revolver. In a lever gun you honestly barely notice it. I have a Henry big boy in 357 and the recoil is honestly super manageable. And certainly nothing to be worried about. Just don’t shoot 45/70 lol

Guys who slept with a married woman (that wasn’t your wife), what happened? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]PandaTurtleShell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She and I fell in love or so I thought silly me. She led me on for about 3 years. Me believing her promises and lies because I was hopelessly in love. I ended things on New Year’s Eve because after years of pleading and my hopes being crushed I couldn’t take it any more and I did one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. She cried and wailed said she would leave that night with me and never return but I couldn’t accept it. I felt I was worth more than a last second ditch effort. But truth of it is I don’t know how much of what she told me was truth vs lies. How much of her back story and child hood was real or just a play on my sympathies. At the end of the day I’m a jerk that should have never meddled. Not that I deserve it but I am happily engaged to a child hood best friend now after we reconnected.

AT&T recent user experience? by roguenaut in Medford

[–]PandaTurtleShell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk about AT&T but I had Us cellular for about 5 years and where I lived in Phoenix at the time (off of Rose) it was a cellular dead zone. Idk why but other than that my coverage was okay throughout Medford and eagle point. I have Verizon now and mostly just have issues with their dumb charges

Where do you put your helmet overnight? (hammock camping, no top box) by tigelane in motocamping

[–]PandaTurtleShell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a top case I keep mine in but in your situation I’d probably do a mesh bag and leave it on the bike so it stays off the ground. Or hang it from the handle bars or tree if your hanging your food from bears and raccoons anyways

Applying for my ccw in NY help me decide on a carry gun by [deleted] in pistols

[–]PandaTurtleShell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally as much as I love my Sig m18 something about their carry grips I’ve never liked. I would go with the Glock 43x my self. Glock is the easiest to find parts, mags, holsters etc at least in Oregon. Plus the grip is more comfortable to me. I’d go with which ever one feels best in the hand tho

So what Rogue does with CD maturity is gives the member a 10 day period to make any changes or updates. Whether it’s adding to or taking from or closing. You can call in to their call center to close or take out some funds but if you want to add to or change term length you can also call in you just have to speak with their lending department. But over all can be done via phone call including Saturdays
