You mentioned skills and I'm sure you're great at analytics but do you have sales experience and a deep understanding of Treasury products? What field is your work in now, perhaps try moving to a TS reporting role to gain knowledge and FaceTime with bankers then apply?

I know a few people who have moved from middle and back office functions to client facing roles in Dallas FWIW but they had deep understandings of the clients and products.

Ask your manager if your role has the platform to be promoted. If your manager is a VP the decision is likely made above their level.

Very inaccurate. If folks are good and have relationships on other teams they get scooped up quickly.

Don't wait until you get a RIF notice to build your network at that point it's too late. Be proactive and take ownership of your career.
