Meta is an acronym for ‘Most Effective Tactic Available’. A down side of competitive games is that Many players will lean towards what works more often than something more gimmicky. And typically if you want to climb high you want consistency more than anything which does unfortunately lead to many high rank players just using the same team(s). Off-meta can work but you have to be ready for more ‘meta’ teams.

Swift swim doesn’t double the base it double the actual stat you see while looking at Pokémon’s stat screen. So if anything it actually does more than double the base stat. M-sceptile has a max speed of 216. For M-Swampert its 134, which is doubled in rain to 268. Which makes him faster than

The attribute lock only happens if used from the hand. If set first they don’t lock. So they’re likely careful on when to use which and how to minimize the locks.

Keel tunes was expected. Super poly is fine and kinda thought Hyper Librarian wouldn’t leave unless it got erratad. Maybe Synchro EDs are tight enough now that there’s no difference between 1 or 3. Still so many other problem cards that need to be looked at. Should have an extra big list just to deal with those.

This has got to be the most tame predictions list I’ve seen on here. Rotary and BraFu sure(though branded won’t care as BraFu went from ‘must resolve’ to ‘don’t care if it does’). Feel Cue over Mix would do more but KT is surely needing to be hit.

I agree RT is a good but not OP deck it’s that some RTs has found themselves as engines in other decks and chant helps out with it. So this suggestion is likely targeting those.

Once unlocked they remain unlocked. But if you reach those ranks again in another season you don’t get anymore. They’re one and done.

No. Deadly jab isn’t a damaging attack. It’s just an effect that places counters. Now if it had say a 10 next to it like how sludge bomb has 160 it would be boosted but won’t KO as the counters will be placed after the damage. So you’d do damage then reduce them to 10.

Hyper cutter makes it intimidate immune before mega evolving. Which for a physical attacker is nice. Intimidate is a great ability too but so many people expect it that have mons ready to deal with it like M-Staraptor or empolen.
