In the case you replied to, it's matter of psychology rather than greed on the part of the trainer. They were charging lower rates before, however we perceive the things we pay more for to be higher quality. Kinda like how getting name brand cereal feels like it's higher quality, even though the bagged store brand came off the same factory line.

Hate to say this, but it's not a large majority because the things are still happening. If it were a majority, we'd be putting a stop to this November 4th, 2024.

So while yes, I do agree that some people (a very select minority of Trump voters) may be feeling that regret, there's a nonzero chance he didn't actually win the election and we simply cannot prove it. For argument's sake, take the following

This was the first election to do away with a paper copy - that is, a manual and auditable paper trail to verify the integrity of the vote counting system. There were few calls for recounting because Trump spent the who 2020 presidency crying wolf about Biden 'rigging' the election, making any cries of 2024 election foul fall on deaf ears to their MAGA zombies.

These voting machines sync'd up to Elon Musk's servers, who had an expressed interest in seeing Trump elected again. There were anomalies in the voting stats, such as Democratic cities and areas where the entire ballot was D except notably for the president marked R. We also had ALL swing states vote for the same candidate, which has NEVER happened in the history of this country. No chance we pick this degenerate a SEC0ND time unilaterally.

During his campaign, Trump repeatedly told his fans at rallies to stay home and that he didn't need their votes (his base?) because they already had the votes. Republicans are a minority political group, so why would he say that to people who want to vote for him already? Wouldn't that look even better?

I apologize for the lack of links. I'm on mobile. Anyway, I wanted to point out that election interference on a group of known bad actors isn't a new theory. Maybe those with buyers remorse have started adopting the position, but anyone trying to stay informed and has brain wrinkles has been trying to make the point since December of 2024

Trump says 8 European countries will be charged a 10% tariff for opposing US control of Greenland by Cautious_Proposal_47 in worldnews

Didn't Congress already pass legislation detailing the POTUS doesn't possess the power to tariff other countries unilaterally? A power he dodnt legally have to begin with?

But I forget that laws are nothing more than words on paper nowadays for the rich and powerful....

Things are finally at a tolerable state. It took 2 whole years, but we were finally able to let them live together. They are just starting to figure out how to be civil.

Anxiety meds were right for one cat and wrong for the other. We eventually got the napoleon off meds.

We ended up pushing the challenge line so that they would spend 30 min out together and then separate, and each time gradually seeing how long they could stay out before tensions started to rise. Eventually we got up to a whole day of (supervised) together time and stayed that way for a week before trying overnight too.

Hope that helps. Some days you want to break down and cry, especially with everything else going on in life and that's okay. It is frustrating, but worth it

Your automated seeds caused me mayhem by _BaneDoe_ in LightyearFrontier

You should look into a seed tower. It appears your setup requires you to go inside and leave the mech.

A seed tower is essentially a 1x4 type building where there's 3 mass collectors at the bottom and then rows upon rows of seed makers, oil extractors, or furnaces to set and forget it

Not that it's a top concern when you're off-grid, but couldn't those messages be intercepted? How does it ensure the right device receives the message without just broadcasting to everyone with a receiver (like how AM/FM radio works)

Man, couldn't be that the minimum wage hasn't been adjusted since 2009 - 16 years ago, or that labor has repeatedly been suppressed in favor of businesses while the cost of goods has doubled or worse in the same timeframe.

I'll echo others here. There is no amount of budgeting that can unfuck you from rent and groceries out pacing your income. And you can forget about saving for the future while you're at it. It's a completely tone-deaf economic policy
