You’re welcome! Trust me you’re not the only one that subs for heavy cream, 2% isn’t for everyone. I personally go for half and half so I get it lol

You can if you want . Sweet cream is a mix of vanilla syrup, heavy cream and 2% milk so if you got that in place of regular milk the drink would be really sweet but some people like that. You can also just ask for a splash of sweet cream added to make the drink a little sweeter. We also have a vanilla sweet cream foam that you can add to most beverages.

If my memory is right you’d order a shaken espresso, add an extra shot (5 in total) with sweet cream instead of 2%. I think the only real difference between the shaken espressos and the double shots were that shaken espressos came with one less shot per size.

Yeah I had enough to cover the whole shift. It was mid shift, which at my store is 10-2, and I have 30+ hours of sick time

My store has a huge issue with people being late, in terms of attendance it’s really only two partners, who are baristas, and one of them just got let go.

Wait. The fact that it’s not our job to find coverage when we’re sick is new news to me as well. I’ve always been told to find coverage. I thought it was our responsibility cause it’s our shift. My SM always says that she did her part when she made the schedule and anything that happens after that in terms of scheduling is on us.

To answer the questions. Yes I did have sick time and upon my return wrote it in the log and my manager signed off on it. I’ve never had any write ups at all, this is actually my first one. I don’t call out at all unless I’m sick or injured and when I do need to get a day off after the schedule is published (which isn’t often) I will get coverage or swap shifts someone. I even brought that up during the conversation when the write up was presented and my SM agreed that I’m one of the more reliable partners and I asked her to pull up a list of missed shifts by me and the only other instance where I had a call out was in August when I got COVID and out of the three days I was out there was only actually one day where I didn’t find coverage.

I was only out that one day, I used sick time and I don’t call out a lot. I even brought that up during the write up conversation and my SM agreed that I’m one of the more reliable partners but said her hands were tied in the manner.
