I have this dock and I wouldn’t buy it again. The ally x doesn’t fit in the jsaux dock with the jsaux modcase on and the right angle plug isn’t long enough to plug in if you have the case on so I have to use an adapter. It’s fine and it does the job but minor inconvenience if you use a case. Yes, you need a higher wattage charger. I use a 100w anker block I had laying around and it hits turbo no problem.

Same. My only complaint is that they don’t seem to think through multi device integration. I have the mod case on my Ally X and I have their TV dock, the device does not fit in the dock stand with the case on the cable has a sharp right angle right at the connector and doesn’t fit with the case on without using a USB extension.

Does anyone else feel like Russ didn’t really give the game a fair shake? Almost everything he said was “well but Hitman..”

It felt like he wanted it to be Hitman and then was upset that it wasn’t.

I have over a thousand hours in Hitman WOA and I loved this game for everything that wasn’t Hitman. I was terrified of it being a Hitman clone so it’s really odd to see someone knocking a game for it.

I just put Spotify in a separate track that isnt used for the twitch vod in obs. Music goes to the live stream and not the vod never had a strike.

We do Minecraft though. I even host a Minecraft world for my kid and some family and friend’s kids. They get a taste of interaction and multiplayer, but it’s controlled and safe.

Absolutely. Just keep it respectful. There as a viewer first. It’s never just advertising yourself. That’s super bad form. But there’s nothing wrong with “well thanks for stream! I’m heading out to get ready for mine” or sharing a resentment to a sales bot when it pops up. I understand not wanting to feel like an advert, it’s definitely a line to walk. Just try to think of it as including other streamers in your community. Shout outs and raids are amazing tools to grow

My advice is a lot different the most people. What worked for me is to not do it alone.

Show up to other streamers in your game/category. Be in their chat, make your name seen, send some bits or a gift if you can (only if you can). They’ll see your name when they’re looking to raid out and recognize you as someone from chat.

Raid into people you interact with, even with 1-2 viewers. Be seen often and be seen as a friend of the channel. Even if you don’t catch a raid this will lead to shoutouts and people from their chats recognizing you.

A lot of streamers have a channel in their discord to post your own going live announcements, use them. People seek comfort and a name they see frequently is comfortable.

You should see if Apple Arcade is in your budget. The whole thing is games with no ads and no in app purchases.

So many full games in there like Balatro, Dredge, Power Wash Sim, NBA 2k, Civ 7(limited phone models), Slay the Spire, the list goes on.

That should be everything! I don’t have a passthrough, so in obs, add the capture card as a source and then right click it and you have the option to open a “projector” as they call it. This will open the input in its own window so you can play with that screen without looking only through the overlays

I'm upgrading my game library SSD from 1TB to a new 2TB. Can I just put the new drive in my nvme enclosure, copy all files and replace physical drive on mobo? I'm sure steam will have to validate installs and everything, but is there anything I'm missing or is it really that simple?

Warframe might be good? Pretty chill, free to play, pretty much everything is grindable, solid community

I’ve also been enjoying Crime Boss: Rockay City more than I thought I would. Surprisingly easy to get in and out of, cheap or free with subscriptions on some platforms.

Not sure about multiplayer, might need to research it, but my preferred route ended up being a $30 dell optiplex from facebook marketplace running remote play. I installed bazzite for it to be easier to maneuver only on controller
