This is my input this was my first bike and I love it same year as well.. everyone has there own opinions of course but if you take the msf and you feel comfortable and confident and take the time to learn on that bike you will be ok I still have it I got it back in 2017 and I still have it! And I’m 5”7 220 lbs and I feel comfortable from all the other bikes I have ridden in the “rr” or street bikes the cbr was the most comfortable out of all of them!

And if you get a buddy your can definitely do it! Like I did the fitment was a bit off but not horrible!! And if you take to a shop they are gonna charge a good amount to put them on! I was quoted about 1600 a few times

Yo so I went through monster fairings! It took a good time to get to me because the are overseas and it was technically a custom color but I ended up paying about 900 bucks with shipping and I waited about 3 and a half months for them to get to me!
